DIY Crochet Swiffer Cover
In my seemingly never-ending quest to figure out what to do with the ridiculous amount of yarn I have, I decided to take a crack at saving the earth... one Swiffer cover at a time. Now, you can make these from fabric or yarn so this is just one way to do it. Pictured here are the tools you will need to complete this project (yarn, Swiffer and a 5 mm crochet needle), as well as an example of the single long piece of crocheted yarn I used to wrap around the Swiffer. I did 50 chains across, the single crocheted across that, the middle is a series of four double crocheted rows ending with a row of single crochet.

I then measured how much of the piece I could evenly get around the Swiffer and single crocheted around the whole thing making sure to join the sides together as I went.

It turned out way better than I thought it would. The best part about it is that it can be used wet or dry and can be thrown in the washer to use again!
